Gear Rims & Wheels

Spunalloys holds vast experience in producing Gear Rims for the gearbox industry. Centrifugally cast material has distinct advantages for gear parts as the process offers a close grain high integrity structure. This is of particular advantage to the outside diameter where the gear cutting is an important requirement. Phosphor bronzes, nickel phosphor bronzes and aluminium bronzes are the most common materials used, however we do offer alternative specifications (please see our alloy list).
